The service we provide....
Shoes On The Move is a family run business based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. We offer not only a mail order service to the whole of the UK, but also a personal "try before you buy" service to customers in St Neots and surrounding villages.
If you live in one of the postcode areas listed below, place your order via our ORDER NOW page and we will contact you to arrange a conveniant time to pop round with the chosen items. You are under no obligation to purchase any item, if you don't like them, you don't buy them.
Our personal delivery service applies to postcode beginning with the following
- PE19 1
- PE19 2
- PE19 7
- PE19 8
Our mail order deliveries will generally be received within 3 working days of cleared payment by courier, unless otherwise agreed. The delivery charges given are per order, whether it be 1 pair or 10 pairs, the price you see is the price you pay. All orders delivered by courier are traceable.

- PE1-19 £4.50
- PE26-29 £4.50
- All other postcodes £9.00 Maximum (except scottish highlands)
NOTE - Where ever possible for all other postcodes the cheapest method of postage will be checked and you will be contacted with the options prior to invoice and dispatch.
Collection of orders is also welcome via prior arrangement.
Anyone deemed to be abusing our goodwill and personal delivery service will simply be blacklisted from our customer database and service refused in the future.
PAYMENT METHODS
- GOOGLE CHECKOUT Complete the ORDER NOW form and select GOOGLE CHECKOUT as the payment method. Once we have received your order and confirmed availability we will send you an invoice via email. On this invoice you will have a link to the GOOGLE checkout website, where you may use any credit or debit card to make payment. Should payment not be received within 48 hours of the order being placed the order will be cancelled and items put back into stock.
- CASH For our personal delivery service we will accept cash on delivery, and a written receipt will be issued for the items you purchase.
RETURNS
You have 30 days to return any item. All returns must appear unworn and include ALL original packaging with all labels intact, and be accompanied by a copy of your receipt. Failure to do so may result in a penalty fee or refusal to accept the return. Any refund will only be issued once this has been verified. Refunds will be issued via the same method as payment was originally made.
Unwanted returns can be made by post, but under no circumstances are Shoes On The Move liable for returns carriage cost. You may also return any item personally by prior appointment
Should a fault occur with any item within an unreasonable period, you may return it along with a copy of your receipt and a description of the fault. We will inspect items individually and should we deem any fault to be as a result of poor quailty we will offer a refund or replacement. We will also refund a reasonable return postage charge, again a receipt must be supplied.(this will be based on a maximum of royal mail standard parcel service charges)
Clearance lines are exempt from our returns policy and are sold as seen.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Shoes On The Move can provide a fully stocked mobile shoe shop for events, parties, shows and markets. At present we are still developing the this part of our business but throughout 2007 we have attended a number of country shows, car shows and sunday markets with over whelming success. Assuming you have somewhere safe to accomodate our van and trailer, we can be there!
Shows & Events We welcome any invitation to attend local community functions and charity events. We already attend regular Steam Fayres and Classic car events throughout the uk.
Girlie Parties - come on girls, we've all done Ann Summers parties, hair and make up nights, now you can have a shoe shopping spree in the comfort of your own living room with your mates and a bottle or two of bubbly. For all your party booking needs contact us to discuss. Discounts for combined purchases exceeding £100.
Village Shop - we are happy to provide a regular visit to village locations, just like the mobile library or the chip van. Why not bring it up at your next meeting, be it WI, parish council or Mum's and tots!
